What can I use my Resort Credits for?

Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta continues to offer resort credits with our all inclusive vacation packages to allow guests to upgrade their experiences while saving money. What is resort credit, you ask? Well, it is basically money you can use to cover the cost of extra services not normally included in the all-inclusive vacation package such as spa services, private beachside or romantic dinners, and much more.

What can resort credits be used for?

The Villa Group Resorts take pride in going the extra mile for our guests and resort credits certainly help with that. They can be used for many things not included in the all inclusive package. Resort credits can be used toward menu items that carry an additional charge, premium drinks, top brand bottles of wine, and other premium food and beverages.

Resort credits can come in handy when you want to order some premium specialties and ingredients from our menus that may carry an additional charge such as fine cuts of steak and other meats, lobster, other specialties, and premium food and beverages. Spend the day being pampered simply because you deserve it. And the good news is you can have expert spa therapists take care of you without ever having to leave the resort. But the best news is that selected spa services at a regular price can be covered by your resort credits. Imagine having a massage on us?

Save on laundry and dry cleaning services, in-room phone calls, and Kids’ Club and all its fun experiences when you use your resort credits on these hotel extra services. And if you have doubts, just ask a staff member and they’ll gladly tell you if what you want is covered by your resort credits.

How does resort credit work?

It’s pretty much free money! Get an extra bottle of vintage wine at dinner or book selected spa services, either way, it’s nice not to have to bother with the bill. Once you own resort credits, whether by winning them or as an added bonus to your all inclusive vacation package, you can use them to upgrade and splurge on the finer things in life.

All inclusive resorts always offer extra hotel services which usually carry additional charges. These charges are then counted at the end of your stay, however, if you have any resort credits, they are deducted from your bill, therefore, paying less or maybe nothing at all. Who wouldn’t want an upgraded experience on us?

When it comes to using your resort credits, there are a few things you need to know in order to make the best use of them. Resort credits cannot be used at Palmita Market, Delicatessen, and do not apply to room service nor consumption from the in-room minibar.

Resort credits do not include tips and gratuities nor can they be used as such. So please be prepared to pay cash for tips to waiters, bellboys, or other hotel staff for their great service and attention. In addition, please note that resort credits are non-refundable and non-redeemable for cash. You cannot transfer it to other guests nor save it for your next trip, so we recommend using it all during your stay.

Lastly, resort credits cannot be combined with other discounts and promotions, however, they are valid per room, per stay, and per reservation. Now that you know what a resort credit is and what you can do with it, come and enjoy it to the fullest!
