Puerto Vallarta Beach Receives Clean Beach Certificate

One of the best beaches in Puerto Vallarta, Playa Holi, just received recertification as a Clean Beach from the Mexican Institute for Standardization and Certification (IMNC). In a special event held this past April 28, 2022, at Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta, the municipal president, personnel from IMNC, representatives from the Puerto Vallarta hotels on the beach, and others involved in the certification process gathered to celebrate the Clean Beach award.

Instituto Mexicano de Normalización y Certificación, A.C., or the Mexican Institute for Standardization and Certification, is a private organization whose aim is to strengthen sectors of the economy, by helping them achieve important certifications. One of the many certifications they offer is the Clean Beach award, which is a recognition given to only the best beaches in Puerto Vallarta and others in the nation that maintain certain standards of cleanliness.

On April 28, 2022, Viviana Fernandez Camargo, General Director of the Mexican Institute for Standardization and Certification of beaches, presented Mayor Luis Alberto Michel Rodríguez with the Clean Beach Award at a ceremony at Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta. She recognized the collective effort of the government, its citizens, and various businesses, including the Puerto Vallarta hotels on the beach, who have worked together to protect and preserve the natural environment surrounding Playa del Holi.

One of the top Puerto Vallarta beaches, Playa del Holi Puerto Vallarta is an expansive beach that stretches from one end of the hotel zone to the other. Beachgoers can spend the day splashing in the waves and playing on the shore, and there is even enough space to fly a kite. Most well known as the place where the Pitial River meets the sea, this Puerto Vallarta beach offers a little bit for everyone. Here you’ll find restaurants and bars, volleyball courts, vendors selling their goods, and public bathrooms for those who need them. Unlike many beaches in Puerto Vallarta, this one has easy public access so that you can enjoy as much time here as possible.

A Celebration at Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta

Every year, one of the Puerto Vallarta hotels on the beach is chosen to host the recertification event. This year, Villa del Palmar Puerto Vallarta was given the honor. The resort is located on the Puerto Vallarta beach in the Hotel Zone. It is one of the establishments that work hard to maintain a clean environment where guests and other beachgoers can enjoy the piece of paradise.
